Applicants with a Bachelor's degree from outside the European Higher Education Area

Applications for the summer semester 2022:

Please apply in the online portal of KIT with your Transcript of Records. You do not need the admission test dMAT, since due to Covid-19 the tests cannot take place as planned.

Applications from the winter semester 2022/23:

Applications Applicants* from non-European higher education areas must enclose a successful test result (at least 51% correct solution in both test parts) of the Digital Master Test Electrical Engineering (dMAT ) of the Gesellschaft für Akademische Studienvorbereitung und Testentwicklung e. V. (g.a.s.t.) for their application. Only with the submitted test result the application documents are complete.

We are very happy to have found an experienced cooperation partner for test development and testing in the Gesellschaft für Akademische Studienvorbereitung und Testentwicklung e. V. (g.a.s.t.). The KIT Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology has co-developed the new Digital Master Test in Electrical Engineering dMAT.

Thus, applicants have the opportunity to demonstrate their competences acquired in the bachelor's degree. After successful participation in the test, they can start their studies with the good feeling that they have all the competencies they need for the master's program in electrical engineering and information technology at KIT.
