Electrical Engineering and Information Technology: Engineering Techology for energy, mobility and communication

The future is electric: Whether in electromobility, in the generation, storage and transportation of energy or in automation and communication: We need a wide range of skills in the field of electrical engineering and information technology to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

The Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at KIT

The first four semesters teach the basics in all areas of electrical engineering and information technology as well as mathematics and physics. In the 5th and 6th semesters - i.e. only when you have found out which area interests you the most - you can focus on one of the specializations and the Bachelor's thesis according to your own interests. This combination of subject breadth and specialization is an ideal basis for the Master's degree course and for responsible tasks in industry and research.
