Pre-study advice

If you are still unsure which program is the right one for you, you can get information about the different study programs at the KIT Study Information Day ("Studieninformationstag"). It takes place every year in November.

Girls' Day is a special information day for schoolgirls: It offers girls from the 5th grade an insight into the training professions and study programs in engineering, technology, IT, crafts, and natural sciences at KIT.

The Central Student Advisory Service (ZSB) at KIT provides advice and support at choosing or changing a course of study.

Advice during studies

During their studies, ETIT students are supported by academic program advisors - for example when deciding on elective modules for the Bachelor's program, or when questions arise about the specializations in the Master's program.

The advisors of the Program Service help with all other questions concerning the study programs ETIT, MIT an MEDT.

Advice from students for students is also very important at the department: The representatives of the student council ("Fachschaft") support their fellow students with all questions and problems.

International students receive comprehensive support from the International Students Office (IStO).
